Zsófia Adrienn Kovács, research assistant at TAKI, submitted an application led by László Pásztor (TAKI) and Tamás Tóth (Geomega Kft.) within the framework of the Eötvös Loránd University Doctoral School of Environmental Sciences, which received support on the basis of a proposal from the Cooperative Doctoral College.

The prize is primarily in recognition of scientific works already published and not older than five years for academics and researchers under the age of 40 in the field of earth sciences.

The Senate of the University of Óbuda awarded the title of associate professor to Dr. Tünde Imréné Takács, senior research fellow at ATK TAKI, in recognition of her outstanding professional work over the years.

Gábor Szatmári of the Department of Soil Mapping and Environmental Informatics won the three-year support of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Premium postdoctoral program in 2019.

The University of Debrecen awarded the title of Honorary Professor to László Pásztor, senior research fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences ATK TAKI, Head of the Department of Soil Mapping and Environmental Informatics.

Brigitta Tóth, senior research fellow at the Institute of Soil Sciences and Agricultural Chemistry of MTA ATK, received the Academic Youth Award from László Lovász, President of the MTA, on 7 February 2019 at the Academy's Headquarters.

This year, Imre Potyó, an employee of our institute, won the highest nature photographer award in Hungary, becoming the Nature Photographer of the Year for the first time.
