The Institute for Soil Sciences, in cooperation with several Hungarian research institution has developed an Ammonia Gas Emission Model, called AGEM-S to assist the reduction of ammonia emissions in the Hungarian pig sector.
The colleagues of the Institute for Soil Sciences, in cooperation with the researchers of Eötvös Loránd University, developed a possible solutions to the decades-long problem of aerial archaeology based on the institute's soil data infrastructure.
Researcher in the Soil Biology Department of ATK TAKI (Péter Csontos, senior author) and co-authors in the New Phytologist in their recently published article, they examined the long-term data (33 years) on the flowering date of 329 species of plant that are permeated in the soil by the help of bulbs, tubers or rhizoomes.
The volume of the Natural Environment of the National Atlas of Hungary has been published, which was officially presented at the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The staff of MTA ATK TAKI have also played a major role in the editing of the volume over the past five years.
